NOTICE

THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL

(D3625) CARTHOUSE LANE, HORSELL

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2014

SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Order under Section 14(1) of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“The Act”), the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding along the length of (D3625) Carthouse Lane, Horsell, between the western property boundary of Beetle Cottage and the eastern boundary of 2 Manor Cottages, a distance of 400 metres.

The Order is required to enable A-Plant access to carry out an overhead cable renewal to restore service. These works are anticipated to be carried out over three days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs on the 11th March 2014 within the one-week period of operation of this Order which commences on 11th March 2014. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians, residents and emergency vehicles at all times.

Vehicular traffic will be diverted via Carthouse Lane, Littlewick Road, Barrs Lane and Chobham Road.
