The rain will clear away to the east through the first part of this afternoon. It will then be dry with increasing amounts of sunshine from mid-afternoon onwards.
This evening and tonight it will be dry and mainly clear with some patches of mist and fog potentially forming. It will be a colder night for many with a frost forming.
Following a cold and frosty start, any early patches of mist and fog will lift to leave a dry and fine day on Friday with sunshine, but this will turn increasingly hazy.
Road surface temperatures will fall below zero tonight. High confidence.
Current road surface temperature highs at our weather station in B269 Botley Hill are 12.7°C and lows of 9.4°C in A22 Godstone.
